Corridor of Madness

I tried not noticing, but I couldn't help it, I swear! It's all that Robert Anton Wilson I was spoon-fed as a child! No, really!

Anyway, this should be newsworthy for those aforementioned spooks that by now should be busy monitoring this and every other blog on the face of the Internet. It is after all, incontrovertible proof of the vast conspiracy to bring about a New World Order.

Right?

Of course, a quick search revealed that somebody beat me to it.
A reader of the Howick and Pakuranga Times, in a letter ('Evil Flags') to the paper, remarks on the above factoid in a very somber manner:

They claim to be secular while concealing their occultic god behind esoteric symbolism.'

Anyway.

On a slightly more serious note, it really boggles the mind that some people can't see the difference between writings like the two linked above and a site like this.

I don't have any references handy right now, but I'm probably not the only one that has seen people, in forums and such, pooh-poohing Lyle Zapato's absolute masterpiece of tongue-in-cheek conspiracy humor as just another nutjob.

Even as his website includes gems of pure wackiness like this expose' on how Belgium does not exist. Or the one about the tiny, nanobiotechnologically-engineered black helicopters, sent by the NWO forces to spy on us. Or the instructions on how to make an Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie, the ultimate tinfoil hat, to protect yourself from "electromagnetic psychotronic mind control carriers".

Seriously, folks. Let's think about this for a second: there are people out there that don't get the joke.

Two words: Pearls. Swine.
